Happy Independence Day, Ukraine!

On August 24, Ukraine celebrates the 35th anniversary of its independence.

Independence means the right to live in a free country, determine our own future, feel protected, and raise children in a nation where human dignity and the rights of every family are respected.

For the Mother's Home NGO team, independence also means a woman's ability to make decisions about her own life, receive support when facing difficult circumstances, and create a safe environment for her child. Every day, we help mothers overcome crises, resolve social and legal issues, regain independence, and keep their families together.

We thank the men and women defending Ukraine, whose courage enables us to continue our work. We honor the memory of those who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our country.

We wish Ukraine peace, resilience, and a just future, and we wish every child the opportunity to grow up safe, cared for, and surrounded by loved ones.
