Mother's Home hosts an employment workshop with specialists from the Kyiv Regional Employment Center

Every woman has the right not merely to survive, but to live with dignity. Sometimes that journey begins with something small: a conversation, a new idea, or a workshop. One such conversation recently took place at Mother's Home, where specialists from the Kyiv Regional Employment Center met with our residents.

The workshop, “Introduction to employment center services and motivation for employment,” was led by Anastasiia Kutsiuk, Head of Recruitment, and Yana Koshelivska, a leading career guidance specialist. In an open and practical dialogue, they spoke about real opportunities for women who are ready to change their lives.

What the mothers learned

The mothers living at the center learned about:

• government tools for finding employment;
• opportunities for free vocational training;
• microgrant programs for starting a business;
• the importance of personal motivation in regaining independence.

For many residents, this was a conversation about defining a professional goal and finding realistic ways to achieve it, even after loss, fear, and uncertainty.
